President Garber Needs to Hear From You

Send a letter to President Garber (president@harvard.edu) asking him to explicitly reject proposed federal rules that would compromise Harvard’s freedom and independence—and please cc us when you do (at alumni@crimsoncourage.com). In September, Crimson Courage wrote a letter urging him to

(1) reject any agreement with the federal government;

(2) reject the DOE's instructions to post answers online about internal matters;

(3) rescind instructions to alumni interviewers that prohibit mention of a student's country of origin, race, religion, or ethnicity in reports; and

(4) affirm Harvard's commitment to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community and the support it requires.

If any of these hit home with you, let President Garber know why (and please cc us). Your perspective as a community member counts.
